Neckwarmers - Super warm and cosy and quick to make from a free pattern

Handspun yarn ready and waiting for creative inspiration

Neckwarmer from the stash.  Warm, toasty and cosy, this is a slightly longer and looser so I can wear it as a cowl - IF I can get to wear it !

Knit this up real quick - in an evening, its super fast, dead easy in a moss stitch (or double moss stitch if you wish) and worn sideways so the stripes sit nicely vertically.  These have all sorts of uses, a hat, a cowl, a neckwarmer but you need to be fast to nab it - Mr Handspinning was last seen wearing it double as a hat and in the garden with it over his jersey as a polo "collar"  - well its cold he said when I asked for it back !
I used my yarn double to get the right size but no worries on tension or gauge as you can just keep knitting until you have the correct length.  Manly enough to keep the most macho guy warm but fine for unisex Neckwarmer too.  Soooo warm.
