I was asked this question with a lid held at arm's length and a disgusted expression on his face !
Well, how to answer ?
 I could have said its for my dyeing, its cabbage fermenting for a dyeing experiment, but it is now a photographic opportunity of the amazing colours and shapes just waiting for my creative endeavours to decide which way to use them.   The answer is obvious !!
