Decided to give it a go to ply some yarn and strips of fabric and was really pleased with the result but next time I think I'll cut my strips a wee bit smaller. They look great knitted up and I have tried a bit in some crochet socks to see how they would look but not practical as you end up walking on small knots of fabric.
